abstract |
The present invention provides a process for dechlorination of PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), which can cause serious environmental pollution, especially PCBs contained in insulating oil of transformers, and converting them into substances that do not cause environmental pollution, (a) Injecting isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and caustic soda powder into the reactor, (b1) supplying insulating oil containing PCBs to the reactor, (c1) adding imidazole to the reactor, and (d Increasing the reactor internal temperature to a predetermined first temperature. |
