titleOfInvention Zion-based oxynitride phosphors for white light emitting diode devices, methods for their preparation, and white LED devices using the same
abstract The present invention relates to a SiON-based oxynitride phosphor for a white light emitting diode device, a method of manufacturing the same, and a white light emitting conversion light emitting diode (LUMINESCENCE CONVERSION LIGHT EMITTING DIODE) using the same. SiON-based oxynitride phosphors activated with Europium (Eu + 2) ions of the present invention are composed of the same composition, but among the three primary colors of green-yellow-red, the desired emission center wavelength can be selectively expressed. In particular, in the phosphor manufacturing process, by controlling the firing temperature and the flow rate of the reducing gas under specific conditions, a phosphor having a desired emission center wavelength can be selectively produced among the three primary colors of green, yellow and red. Furthermore, by using the SiON-based oxynitride phosphors, it is possible to provide a white LED device having excellent color purity and excellent color rendering properties.
