abstract The present invention relates to a method for controlling a small dividing apparatus 10 for analyzing a body fluid, wherein at least one inspection means 44 for one use in each analysis is continuous by the control apparatus 16. It is provided automatically in the measurement cycle, and each measurement cycle of the measurement mode of the control device 16 is triggered by the starting drive. According to the present invention, it is proposed that the prescribed control intervention cause the control device 16 to be in maintenance mode in which automatic provision of the inspection means 44 is prevented.
