A cleaning composition is provided that can release the color of blood, physiological fluids, or other organic stains. In particular, the present invention achieves a balance between unwanted liquid spread control by lateral wicking of stained fabric cloth and maintaining the cleaning efficacy of the composition by the use of certain types of thickeners to reduce the size of wet spots. The composition includes oxidizing agents such as peroxides, lytic agents, chelating agents, antioxidants, thickeners, and any other ingredients that are optionally used to obtain aqueous compositions that exhibit good storage stability and stain removal properties. The thickener may comprise polyoxyethylene glycol derivatives or combinations thereof comprising cellulosic or clay substances, starches, gums, fatty acids, fatty alcohols, hydrophilic colloidal particles, polyoxyethylene glycols or fatty acid esters and ethers. |
