abstract The present invention makes it possible to provide an electrophoretic display exhibiting a low driving voltage, and relates to an electrophoretic particle and an electrophoretic display using the same, which exhibit excellent mobility (flow) in the electrophoretic display.n n n The electrophoretic particles are electrophoretic particles used in an electrophoretic display for displaying an image by applying an electric field between opposite electrodes, and are attached to a resin base particle having a particle diameter of 1 to 50 μm and a surface of the resin base particle. A plurality of first magnetic particles of resin or inorganic type and a plurality of second magnetic particles of inorganic type adhering to the surface of the resin mother particle, wherein the particle size of the mother particle is 10: 0.04 to 10: 3, and the particle size of the first magnetic particles: the particle size of the second magnetic particles is from 10: 0.01 to 10: 6.
