titleOfInvention | AttM4 gene and its use for inducing inhibition of flowering of plants |
abstract | The present invention relates to an AtJmj4 gene for inducing flowering inhibition, a method for inducing early flowering of plants using the same, and a plant for which early flowering is induced. More specifically, the present invention provides a gene AtJmj4 ( Arabidopsis) that induces inhibition of flowering of a plant isolated from Arabidopsis vulgaris. thaliana Jumonji 4), a method for inducing early flowering of plants by inserting T-DNA into the gene and inducing early flowering of plants, and a plant for which early flowering is induced. The AtJmj4 gene and the protein expressed from the gene isolated in the present invention can be usefully used to control the flowering time of the plant. |
