Refining Strategies for Direct Nucleophilic Procedures |
abstract |
The present invention provides advantageous novel methods for the preparation and purification of compounds such as pharmaceuticals. This method involves a nucleophilic substitution reaction with moiety X, wherein the leaving group L of substrate S in the reaction is covalently attached to the purification moiety M. This concept provides a convenient and time saving way to purify the desired product S-X from unreacted precursor S-L-M and by-product L-M. |
