titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of liquid crystalline polyester |
abstract | Highly polymerized liquid crystal polyester used as an insulating resin base material for electronic devices such as printed wiring boards and package substrates is industrially produced with high efficiency. The manufacturing method of this liquid crystalline polyester includes a melt polycondensation process, a grinding | pulverization process, and a solid state polymerization process. In the melt polycondensation step, a liquid crystal polyester having a flow start temperature of 220 ° C. or less is prepared. Thereby, fluidity | liquidity of liquid crystalline polyester is maintained and liquid crystalline polyester can be easily taken out from a reaction container. In the solid phase polymerization step, the liquid crystal polyester prepared in the melt polycondensation step is heated at a reaction temperature of 180 ° C. or higher to perform a solid phase polymerization to prepare a solid polymer, and the solid polymer is pulverized, followed by heating to solid phase polymerization. Thereby, the solidification shrinkage amount at the time of cooling of liquid crystalline polyester can be increased, and peelability can be improved. |
