abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for producing aromatic amines by hydrogenation of the corresponding aromatic nitro compounds followed by purification. In purification, certain amines are first mixed with aqueous base solution. The organic phase and the aqueous phase are then demixed by adding excess water. |
