abstract |
Methods and combinations are provided for controlling the duration of activity of a substrate-degrading enzyme in vivo. The methods and combinations allow for the transient in vivo activation of substrate-lyases when administered with extracellular matrix (ECM). Substrate-degrading enzymes with controlled duration of activity can be used to treat ECM-mediated diseases or disorders characterized by increased deposition or accumulation of one or more ECM components. |
