The method for restoring blood flow in occluded blood vessels is pre-formed to take an overlapped structure under unconstrained conditions, but is made to take a volume-reduced form and thus with a pushwire arranged at the microcatheter and proximal end. It is possible to introduce, in the overlapped structure, the distal part takes the form of a laterally open tube and uses a mechanism having a self-expansible distal part having a mesh structure of interconnected strings or filaments or struts. In a preferred embodiment, the distal portion has a tapering structure at its proximal end, where the string or filament or strut converges at the connection point. |
