abstract | The present invention relates to a process for preparing aldehydes by reacting α, β-unsaturated carboxylic acids or salts thereof with carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst comprising a metal of subgroup VIII of the Periodic Table of the Elements and at least one complex of a compound of formula (I) It is about.
