abstract |
The present invention provides a novel therapeutic composition comprising insulin producing mesenchymal stem cells obtained from human adipose tissue with hematopoietic stem cells for treating diabetic patients, in particular insulin deficient patients. The invention also describes a simple and effective method for the isolation, proliferation and differentiation of insulin producing mesenchymal stem cells from human adipose tissue. Unfiltered extracts of adipose tissue are used in the process with medium in which there is no heterogeneous material; In this process, continuous passage of cells is avoided. |
