abstract The present invention can be added to products in the rinse-off field containing one or more surfactants such as Harvey Duty Liquid (HDL), Rinse Cycle Fabric Softener (RCFS), Shampoo, Hair Conditioner, Shower Gel, Cleansing Products, A controlled release carrier system is provided that promotes surface deposition of lipophilic active materials such as fine perfumes, fragrances and other volatile compounds. The perfume composition is encapsulated in a shell comprising a silicon-containing material, wherein the shell has an average diameter size of less than 30 μm. The surfactant composition containing the perfume composition is washed off and the perfume is released gradually.
