abstract The present invention relates to a promoter of a kinase gene derived from cucumber and a transgenic plant using the same. More specifically, a promoter of a cold stress resistance induced kinase gene derived from cucumber, a recombinant expression vector comprising the promoter, and the recombinant expression. The present invention relates to a method for producing a transformed plant using a vector and to a transformed plant having increased resistance to cold stress produced by the method, and a promoter of a cucumber-derived kinase gene according to the present invention and a cold stress resistant transformation using the same. Plant breeding technology could greatly contribute to increasing yields of various economic crops.
