titleOfInvention | Function of uridindiphosphate (udp)-glycosyltransferase ugt74e2 from arabidopsis plant |
abstract | PURPOSE: A method for enhancing disease-resistance in a plant and a method for screening pathogen resistance agent of the plant are provided to obtain important information for developing disease resistant crop. CONSTITUTION: A composition for enhancing disease resistance in a plant contains an agent suppressing a gene which activates or encodes Uridindiphosphate(UDP)-glycosyltransferase UGT74E2 protein. The agent is an antisense nucleic acid or T-DNA. The increase for plant disease resistance is performed by suppressing the gene. |
