abstract | The present invention includes at least one inductor core comprising at least one air gap 16 as well as an inductor core 12 composed of an electrical conductor for forming a magnetic field and a material arranged and magnetizable in the region of the conductor. Relates to an inductor having a unit 10, wherein a filling material 18 is introduced into at least a portion of the air gap 16 to provide mechanical robustness, and the filling material 18 has a coefficient of thermal expansion α F. And the value of the coefficient of thermal expansion is within ± 70% of the value of the coefficient of thermal expansion α D of the material from which the inductor core 12 can be constructed. The invention also relates to a method for forming an inductor core unit 10 for an inductor. |
