abstract |
PURPOSE: A method for forming an image is provided to receive tissue for positron emission tomography and breast-specific gamma imaging by forming a side opening to the flexible sleeve. CONSTITUTION: A targeting assembly(50) includes a sleeve assembly(100) which is supported by a sleeve mount(136). The sleeve assembly includes an enlarged distal end part(140). The end part includes one or more internal seals. The sleeve assembly includes a sleeve(110) with an open distal end part(114) and a side tissue receiving port(116). The targeting assembly includes a cradle assembly(60). The cradle assembly supports the sleeve mount. |
