| abstract |
The present invention relates to improvements in security devices that can be used with varying shapes and sizes in various authentication or security applications, and more particularly to optically variable security devices using color conversion materials. The security element 10 comprises a first layer and a second layer 11a, 11b of color conversion material at least partially over each other and each having different color conversion properties. Applied at least in part over the surface of one of the color conversion layers is the light control layer 12, which has a surface structure that modifies the angle of the reflected light, such that the light reflected by the security element is seen at different viewing angles. |
