As a film, it provides the aromatic polyimide film whose manufacture is implement | achieved on industrially advantageous conditions. (Solution) Containing 3,3 ', 4,4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid units and 2,3,3', 4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid units in a molar ratio ranging from 75:25 to 97: 3. The aromatic polyimide film whose thickness which consists of aromatic polyimide which contains a biphenyl tetracarboxylic acid unit and p-phenylenediamine unit in the molar ratio of 100: 102-100: 98 is a range of 5-250 micrometers.
