The inventors have shown that both the GyrB subunit of DNA gyrace and the ParE subunit of topoisomerase IV are weak in cytotoxicity and have high solubility in water in order to newly produce antibiotics having a novel mechanism of action. As a result of searching for a compound having an inhibitory action and sufficient antibacterial activity, it was found that the compound represented by the general formula (1) of the present invention, the pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and the prodrug thereof had desirable properties. The invention has been completed. The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition (particularly a composition for preventing or treating an infectious disease) containing a compound represented by formula (1), a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and a prodrug thereof as an active ingredient. |
