abstract The present invention discloses a salt removal membrane formed of a sulfonated poly (arylene ether) copolymer having a crosslinked structure at its end. Salt-removing membranes composed of sulfonated poly (arylene ether) copolymers containing cross-linked structures are significantly superior to poly (amide) salt-removing membranes currently available for chemical stability, mechanical stability, and high dimensional stability even after prolonged exposure to moisture. In addition, the salt removal rate (NaCl removal rate), which is a typical performance of the salt removal film, is also maintained at almost the same level as the poly (amide) salt removal film.
