The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a drug substance which is particulate and substantially crystalline. The method comprises suspending substantially crystalline drug substance in an anti-solvent to produce a suspension, homogenizing the suspension at elevated pressure to produce drug particles having an average particle size of less than about 10 μm, and drying the drug particles.
