titleOfInvention Filtration membrane
abstract The present invention relates to a method for maintaining the pore size of a reusable filtration membrane, wherein the method forms a polymeric layer on the surface of the filtration membrane by exposing the filtration membrane to a plasma comprising a hydrocarbon or fluorocarbon monomer. The treatment makes the filtration membrane resistant to cleaning processes, in particular corrosive cleaning. The treatment of the reusable filtration membranes with the above methods and their use thus form another aspect of the present invention.
