The present invention relates to novel mutations of human stromal cell derived factor-1 that exhibit increased glycosaminoglycan (GAG) binding affinity and suppressed or down-regulated wild type GPCR activity compared to wild type SDF-1, and these mutations. It relates to a method of preparing the same and to the use thereof for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of cancer. |
