abstract | PURPOSE: Adamantyl (math)acrylates are provided to have an adamantane backbone, to obtain excellent optical properties, heat resistance, and acid dissociation, to be used for a crosslinking resin, an optical fiber, an optical waveguide, an optical disc substrate, and various industrial products. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing adamantyl (math)acrylates which are marked as a chemical formula 3 and a chemical formula 4 comprises: a reaction step of obtaining a mixture which is marked as a chemical formula 2~4 by reacting a compound of a chemical formula 1 and (meth)acrylic acid halide or (meth)acrylic anhydride; a separation step of separating the mixture of the chemical formula 2~4. The separation step includes an extraction step of obtaining water/polar organic solution and a reverse extraction step of obtaining the compound which is marked as the chemical formula 3. |
