The metal oxide is processed by contacting the oxidizing solution to anodize the metal object and then subjecting the anodized metal object to an inverted voltage (relative to the anodic oxidation voltage). The metal object thus treated is then contacted with a sterile metal containing solution. Sterile metal is deposited on the surface of the metal object, creating improved sterilization properties. |
