Pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of inflammatory neurodegenerative diseases, including narcissin |
abstract |
The present invention relates to an anti-inflammatory agent and a pharmaceutical composition for inflammatory neurodegenerative disease, which comprises narcinicin as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention can completely attenuate LPS-induced inducible nitrogen oxide synthesis (iNOS) mRNA expression and NO production in BV-2 cells and thus can be effectively used as an effective anti-inflammatory and therapeutic agent for neurodegenerative diseases. |
