abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for obtaining oysters resistant to pathogens and to oysters thus obtained. The method of the present invention involves hybridizing Mediterranean Austrian Ostrea edulis oysters and opposing non-resistant oysters resistant to the pathogen. The invention is useful in commercial production of the particular Bona Mia Ost reahyi (Bonamia Ostreae) and Marte Ilia LES printer Regensburg (Martelia Refringens) and forms a resistance to the same pathogen oyster. |
