titleOfInvention Separation Method of Salvianolic Acid with High Purity from Salvia Militiorrhiza Extract
abstract The present invention relates to a method for separating salvianolic acid B (salvianolic acid B, lithospermic acid B) from the methanol extract of Salvia miltiorrhiza root. More specifically, after extracting and filtering the methanol extract of the root of Salvia, the water suspension of the obtained concentrate was subjected to solvent fractionation with chloroform, and the separated water layer was adjusted to pH 3.0 using trifluoroacetic acid, and then solvent fractionation with ethyl acetate. . The obtained ethyl acetate layer is concentrated, and a method of separating salvianolic acid B having a purity of 99% or higher through Sepadex LH-20 column chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) using a reversed phase column.
