abstract | The present invention has a metal powder catalyst, and excellent filtration properties, does not interfere with the reaction, does not prevent the catalyst from being recycled back to the reaction, and does not interfere with refining and recovering metal from the catalyst after the catalyst has been consumed. And is formed from a solid material (referred to as a reaction aid) that is not separated from the catalyst during preparation of the catalyst mixture, chemical reaction, or separation of the catalyst mixture from the reaction medium, wherein the ratio of reaction aid to catalyst is 0.05 by weight. To a catalyst mixture in the range of from 20 to 20; Preferred metal powder catalysts are acetylene black supported precious metals. Preferred reaction aids are sieve unit powders or activated carbon. The catalyst mixture of the present invention can be used for catalytic catalytic conversion of compounds, for example hydrogenation of olefins or hydrogenation of nitro compounds. |
