Provided is a membrane-electrode assembly comprising a polymer electrolyte membrane, a method for producing a polymer electrolyte membrane, and a polymer electrolyte membrane. The polymer electrolyte membrane has a single layer of hydrophobic asymmetric support having a first side and a second side facing each other, and the support has pores exposed through the support and exposed in the first and second facing sides of the support. The size of the pores exposed in the first surface is smaller than the size of the pores exposed in the second surface and includes a hydrophilic polymer located in the pores. |
