abstract A micro trace biomaterial detection system using a micro cantilever and dramatically improving the sensitivity of a micro cantilever in protein detection based on immune responses. This is a system in which a sandwich immunoassay method using a specific binding agent including a monoclonal antibody is applied to a micro cantilever to amplify a change in the output signal of the cantilever, thereby significantly improving detection sensitivity. This system allows detection of trace levels of disease-specific antigens and facilitates analysis of trace amounts of proteins associated with disease, particularly cancer.
