abstract |
The present invention relates to cosmetic preparations that protect skin and hair from the deleterious effects of solar ultraviolet light. The formulation of the present invention comprises disodiumphenyldibenzimidazole tetrasulfonate, which is a water-soluble UVA absorbing substance, and truncertin, a fluorescent quencher for reducing its fluorescence. The present invention also provides a process for the preparation of such formulations and the use of truccerutin and disodium phenyl dibenzimidazole tetrasulfonate. |
