The novel condensed bicyclic compound [I] shown below which has affinity for a mineral corticoid receptor (MR) and is useful as a suppressor etc. is disclosed. Specifically, a compound represented by the following formula [I] or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof is disclosed. [Wherein, Ring A represents a benzene ring having substituent R 1 condensed with an adjacent heterocyclic 6-membered ring, which may have a substituent other than R 1 ; R 1 represents an alkylsulfonylamino group or the like; R 2 and R 3 (a) independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, (b) together form an oxo group, or (c) together with adjacent carbon atoms form a cycloalkyl; X represents = N-, = C (R 4 )-or -CH (R 4 )-; R 4 is (a) hydrogen, (b) cyano, (c) halogen, (d) alkyl, (e) alkenyl, (f) cycloalkyl, (g) alkanoyl, (h) carbamoyl, or (i) represents cycloalkenyl; Ar represents a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic ring group; Dashed line means presence or absence of double bond. |
