abstract |
PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a scratch resistance while maintaining a mechanical property of methyl methacrylate-styrene-acrylonitrile terpolymer. CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition contains 65~80wt% of methyl methacrylate, 0.5~15wt% of N-substrated maleimide, 1~10wt% of vinyl cyanide monomer, and 10~20wt% of styrene-based monomer. The average molecular weight of the thermoplastic resin composition is 12,000~80,000. A manufacturing method of the thermoplastic resin composition comprises a step of massive-polymerizing monomer mixtures. A residual monomer content rate of the thermoplastic resin composition is less than 2,500 ppm. |
