abstract |
A personal virtual assistant is provided. The personal virtual assistant includes a remote station and medical device connectable via a wireless network to a server comprising a control processor and a rules engine. Medical devices are used to provide physiological information to remote stations. The remote station forwards the physiological information and other related information to a server that monitors the information for a number of reasons, including determining whether the physiological information has a trend. Based on the detrimental trend, the server delivers the virtual assistant to the remote station in the form of advice on tips to help facilitate interruption or reversal of the trend. |
