abstract Wax dispersions and methods for their preparation are disclosed. The disclosed wax dispersions are characterized by comprising hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose acetate phthalate as the wax and the polymeric dispersant.n n n Therefore, the disclosed wax dispersion contains hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose acetate phthalate as the polymer dispersant, so that thickening and gelling of the dispersion do not occur during long-term storage, thereby improving dispersion stability and redispersibility.
