abstract |
A method of removing microbial biofilms on a surface that is in contact with a system, including but not limited to an aqueous system, the method comprising adding an effective amount of polyethylenimine surfactant to the aqueous system to substantially remove microbial biofilms from the surface in the aqueous system with very low emissions. Methods are disclosed that present a minimum risk to non-target aquatic organisms upon discharge due to concentration. |
