titleOfInvention Nanolithography using a viewport
abstract A two-dimensional cantilever array for use in delivering ink from the tip of the cantilever to the substrate is improved by using a viewing window for viewing the cantilever on the far side. When there are a large number of cantilevers, this improves the leveling characteristics. It also provides improved laser access. Of particular importance in bioarrays and combinatorial applications. Large parallel direct writing of more than 55,000 cantilevers can be achieved.
