abstract |
The present invention provides improved media for the culture of Clostridium histolyticum and culture supernatants for the biotechnological preparation of collagenase. The nutrient medium according to the invention comprises at least one peptone from a non-mammalian source, preferably from plant-derived peptone. The medium may additionally include fish gelatin. The present invention provides a culture supernatant comprising the medium, Clostridium histolyticum collagenase, and a method for producing the collagenase. |
