titleOfInvention | Plant disease control agents, including the new Bacillus subtilis E-0-0 (UCC-91355 P) and its culture, which produce antifungal and plant growth regulators simultaneously |
abstract | The present invention relates to a novel Bacillus subtilis EB-045 (KACC-91355P) to produce antifungal substances and plant growth regulators at the same time, and to plant disease control agents using the same, and more particularly to antibacterial specific to various phytopathogens. The present invention relates to a novel Bacillus sp. Microorganism having an activity and ability to simultaneously produce a plant growth regulator, a culture obtained by culturing the same, and a composition for controlling phytopathogens comprising the same. Bacillus subtilis EB-045 (KACC-91355P) used in the present invention is a food microorganism isolated from traditional fermented foods in Korea, so it is a strain that has already been proved non-toxic and safe for humans and livestock. The obtained composition shows a wide range of antimicrobial activity against the pathogenic microorganisms of various crops, as well as plant growth regulation. Accordingly, the present invention provides a microbial preparation that can be used with confidence as an eco-friendly microbial pesticide and microbial fertilizer in response to the demands of the times that interest in eco-friendly agriculture is increasing. |
