Injectable Void Filler for Soft Tissue Enhancement |
abstract |
The present invention teaches injectable microporous, soft elastic fully resorbable fibrin base compositions for use as soft tissue lumens and pore fillers. The composition of the present application exhibits physical properties such as mechanical properties typical of elastomers and superior mechanical stability compared to fibrin alone. Various properties of the composition of the present invention can be effectively fine tuned and altered by controlling the type and content of the plasticizer as well as the particles contained in the void filler composition. |
