Ion-triggered water-disintegratable wet wipes having a salt-stable emulsifying wetting composition therein |
abstract |
The present invention generally relates to ion-triggerable water-disintegratable or water soluble wet wipes suitable for contact with the skin. More particularly, the present invention relates to ion-triggered water-disintegratable wet wipes comprising an oil-in-oil emulsion wetting composition having a low viscosity and stable in the presence of high salt concentration therein. It is about. Such emulsified wetting compositions allow the wipe to impart an improved feel when the wipe is brought into contact with the skin. The present invention further relates to a process for preparing such ion-triggerable water-disintegratable wipes using concentrated forms of salt-stable oil-in-water emulsion wetting compositions. |
