abstract | The present invention relates to a polyrotaxane having 1) high solubility in various solvents, 2) a polyrotaxane having a reversible external stimulus response, 3) a chemically crosslinked polyrotaxane having a high Young's modulus and a high elongation, and a high permeability. And / or 4) chemically crosslinked polyrotaxanes and / or materials comprising them, and / or methods of making these, which exhibit reversible external stimulus responsiveness. The present invention relates to a polyrotaxane formed by blocking groups at both ends of a pseudopolyrotaxane in which an opening of a cyclic molecule is encapsulated by a straight chain molecule so that the cyclic molecule does not escape. There is provided a polyrotaxane having a functional group of I and at least one functional group selected from formulas II-1 to II-6. |
