titleOfInvention | Anode and secondary battery |
abstract | The present invention provides a secondary battery capable of improving cycle characteristics.n n n The present invention includes an electrolyte together with the positive electrode 21 and the negative electrode 22, and the electrolyte is impregnated in the separator 23 provided between the positive electrode 21 and the negative electrode 22. The negative electrode 22 has a negative electrode active material layer 22B containing a plurality of negative electrode active material particles on the negative electrode current collector 22A. When the surface of the negative electrode 22 (negative electrode active material layer 22B) was observed using an SEM, and the SEM image was image-processed to calculate the particle area for each negative electrode active material particle, it was included in a predetermined observation area. The average particle area of the plurality of negative electrode active material particles to be obtained is 1 µm 2 or more and 60 µm 2 or less. Since the internal stress due to the expansion of the negative electrode active material layer 22B is dispersed during charging and discharging, the shape stability of the entire negative electrode 22 is maintained. |
