abstract |
Processes for rapid and highly accurate analysis of spectral data include both linear scanning (LINSCAN) methods and advanced peak detection methods for pattern recognition. One or both of the above methods are used to assist in the detection and identification of chemical, biological, radiation, nuclear and explosive materials. Spectra of various targets can be analyzed by the two spectral analysis methods. These two methods can be combined for double identification and higher accuracy, and to reduce false positives and false negatives for what can only happen with one. |
