abstract The present invention relates to a silver coating layer-containing silica nanopowder excellent in stability and antibacterial activity, a method for preparing the same, and a cosmetic composition comprising the same. More specifically, after mixing a predetermined amount of silicon alkoxide, solvent, water, and catalyst in the reactor, the mixture is stirred to prepare silica particles having an average particle size of 75 nm to 150 nm, and then a silver ion (Ag + ) precursor is slowly added thereto, followed by stirring for a predetermined time. To prepare a nano-sized silver particles coated silica powder through a washing and drying process, and to disperse it in a dispersion solvent to prepare a dispersion having stability and antimicrobial activity and to apply the dispersion to a cosmetic composition. .
