abstract A wet nonwoven fiber is provided, which can be a raw material of papermaking, which maintains a uniform weight per unit area and uniform fiber dispersibility, and which has a bulkiness that has not existed before. The wet nonwoven fabric includes 30 to 100% by weight of presently crimped fibers having a fiber diameter of 3 to 40 μm, and 0 to 70% by weight of latent crimped fibers having a fiber diameter of 3 to 40 μm.
