The present invention relates to lipoprotein particles, methods of making and purifying the particles, their use as medicines, in particular their use in the prevention of malaria infections, antibodies to such particles or protein particles, such as monoclonal antibodies or polyclones. It relates to compositions / vaccines containing raw antibodies and their use, in particular their use in therapy. In particular, the present invention relates to immunogenic protein particles comprising the following monomers: a. A fusion protein (CSV-S) comprising a sequence derived from the CS protein of P. vivax and the S antigen of hepatitis B virus, b. A fusion protein (RTS) comprising a sequence derived from the CS protein of P. falciparum and the S antigen of hepatitis B virus, and c. Optionally an S antigen derived from hepatitis B virus. |
